PRESS: Tele2 outwalks MegaFon by monthly ARPU in Jan–Mar
MOSCOW, Jun 10 (PRIME) -- T2 RTK Holding, working as Tele2, has entered Russia’s top three mobile operators by monthly average revenue per user (ARPU) as of the end of January–March, business daily Vedomosti reported on Monday, citing researchers AC&M Consulting and TMT Consulting.
AC&M calculated that T2 RTK Holding’s ARPU was at 293 rubles per month, while it was at 288 rubles at MegaFon. TMT Consulting’s figures were 291 and 288 rubles respectively.
TMT Consulting CEO Konstantin Ankilov said T2 RTK Holding’s average bill grew 10% and MegaFon’s one rose by 3%.
T2 RTK Holding spokeswoman Olga Galushina agreed with the experts. The operator could have increased ARPU thanks to a growing number of Internet users.
